Tree of Hope 2021 Holiday Campaign

Rooted In Our Community

It’s because of you, kids and their families have a brighter holiday season and it’s been that way for more than 100 years. KFL&A has consistently opened their hearts and given generously to one of Ontario’s longest running holiday appeals and this year will be bigger than ever.

The pandemic contributed to a massive change last year. For the first time, instead of collecting toys, we issued gift cards to families. This allowed parents and caregivers to buy children their own gifts for the holidays. The 2020 Tree of Hope helped more than 750 kids. Overall, the age of the children in need was noticeably younger. Those under the age of eight represented more than 50 percent of the recipients.

Your donation makes a world of difference to a child and their family.

The gift cards from the Tree of Hope made such a huge difference to me and my kids. I was able to buy them toys and pajamas for Christmas morning. I can’t thank you all enough for helping us have a good holiday together.

Parent of two small children

The bursary that I received for my college program really helped me get started on continuing my education. Because of this financial assistance, I am now set on the path to be able to provide stability for myself, fiancé, and my children. My future seems bright thanks to this bursary I was honoured to receive.
